Did you take the classroom portion of your driver education at another school? Sign up for this package if you only want to complete the behind-the-wheel state requirement at our driving school.

EVERY student MUST obtain a TIP (temporary permit) to take driving lessons.

• 6-Hours Adult Pre-Licensing Class
  Taught in one full from 8 AM to 2 PM. The instruction covers traffic rules, road signs, and safe driving practices. Instructors use presentations, discussions, and interactive activities to enhance your understanding of driving concepts.
• Knowledge Test
  The Louisiana written driving test is taken at the end of the day. You must pass with a minimum of 80%. An option to retest after driving is possible.
• 8 Hours of Private Behind-the-Wheel Driving Instruction
  Four 2-hour sessions are scheduled within 120 days from classroom completion. You begin in a parking lot for assessment and then progress in a structured lesson plan.
• Road Test
  Road skills testing consists of an on-the-road evaluation of your knowledge of the essential operation of a vehicle and your mastery of driving laws and skills. You must obtain a score of 80 or above to pass. The road test must be taken in our driving school vehicle and will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. This package includes the cost of the OMV Road Test ($40) and the use of the Neighborhood Driving School's vehicle ($35).
